RE: Pictou County Business Directory Update for 2007-2008
The Data Collection Team consists of and is supported by Nova Scotia Community College - Pictou Campus, Pictou Regional Development Commission and Aliant.
The Pictou County Business Directory has become the source of business information that is used by over 2000 enterprises in Pictou County and abroad to source products and services.
We are currently preparing a major update of this directory to make sure it is as useful as possible.
The New Edition of the Pictou County Business Directory is scheduled for release in October of this year. Please review your current directory to ensure your business name and address is correct and listed under the appropriate section. Your listing can also be viewed on-line at the Pictou County Portal (www.pcconnects.ca) under the PC Directory. It is essential that this well used directory be accurate. Your input is critical and essential.
All businesses listed in the current edition of the Business Directory published in 2005 will be contacted by telephone, fax or email by a member of the Chamber’s Data Collection team to update their existing listing. Listings for which no updates are received will be re-listed as is. If you are not contacted by a member of the Data Collection Team, please phone the Chamber at 752-9351 and request that an Information Request Form be sent to you that can be faxed back to the Chamber at 755-2501.
Click here to access the on-line Form.
Owners and/or managers of businesses that have commenced operation subsequent to 2005 and who are not listed in the current Directory are encouraged to contact the Chamber at 752-9351 or by email assistant@pictouchamber.com for an Information Request Form and fax the completed document to the Chamber at 755-2501 to obtain their free listing in the new 2007-2008 Pictou County Business Directory.
Advertising opportunities and additional listings under Multiple Classifications will soon be available.
Regards,
Barrie MacMillan, Executive Director
Pictou County Chamber of Commerce
